The Roof Record: what you get when your new roof is finished
Every Thomas Roofing job ends with a Roof Record, a page we text and email you when the work is finished. It shows what the technician found before work began, photos of the finished roof, the flashing and the cleanup, the closeout checklist, your roof system and warranty, and notes from the job. Keep the link for your files, for warranty questions, or for a buyer if you sell.

What’s in your Roof Record
- Your roof system: the option you chose, the shingle line, and your workmanship and manufacturer warranties.
- Your roof’s numbers: roof area, pitch, layers of old roofing removed, and decking sheets replaced.
- What the technician found before work began, with the photos taken at the verification visit.
- Photos of the work now under the shingles, like decking repairs and ice and water shield, whenever the crew photographs them before they’re covered.
- Photos of every finished roof slope, the flashing at chimneys, skylights and walls, and your yard and driveway after cleanup.
- The closeout checklist, checked off: debris hauled away, magnetic nail sweep, gutters cleared, town sign-off, and a walkthrough with you (or the photos, if you weren’t home).
- A note from the job about anything worth knowing.
Why we document it
Most of what makes a roof last ends up under the shingles, where nobody sees it again. The Roof Record shows what was done and how, so you don’t have to take it on faith, and you have it on hand the next time someone asks about your roof.
When you get it
When the crew finishes and the closeout checklist is complete, we text and email you the link. It stays with your project, so you can open it whenever you need it.
